Valentine's Fair
It was a night of "music, laughter, and friendly competition."
Valentine’s Day Fair 2025: A Celebration of Love, Laughter & Community
On Saturday, February 15, 2025, the Girl Guides Association grounds came alive with the sounds of music, laughter, and friendly competition as we hosted our highly anticipated Valentine’s Day Fair. It was an evening filled with fun, friends, and fellowship, bringing together members and visitors alike for an unforgettable experience. With exciting games like dominoes, pop the balloon, and karaoke, there was no shortage of entertainment. Sweet treats like cotton candy, snow cones, and popcorn added to the festive atmosphere, while our partnership with General Food Supermarket ensured that attendees could enjoy delicious meals throughout the event. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors—Loshusan Supermarket and World Brands Services—we were able to surprise many with fantastic prizes, making the evening even more special.
This event would not have been possible without the dedication of our incredible planning committee and the unwavering support of our volunteers. Their commitment, creativity, and teamwork transformed an idea into a beautiful reality, proving that when we come together, great things happen. Beyond the fun and excitement, this fair was a testament to the spirit of giving. The love and generosity poured into this event have made it possible for us to extend our impact even further. With leftover items from the fair, we are now preparing to host a fun day for a local children’s home, ensuring that the joy we experienced is shared with those who need it most. Additionally, some refreshments will be used to support the men who will be volunteering at our upcoming Women’s Day event, continuing the cycle of service and community care.
As we reflect on this incredible evening, we are filled with gratitude and excitement for what’s to come. The
Valentine’s Day Fair was more than just an event—it was a reminder of the power of unity, generosity, and
faith in action. With such a strong foundation, we look forward to hosting more events that uplift, engage,
and serve. If this fair was any indication, the best is yet to come!
