In today’s world, weddings are becoming less common and divorce rates remain sadly high. Yet, God designed marriage as a sacred covenant; one that reflects the love, commitment, and unity between Christ and His church, His beloved bride.

The Married Couples’ Ministry exists to nurture and strengthen this holy bond. Its mission is to provide couples with the support, guidance, and encouragement they need to sustain and even deepen the love and unity they celebrated on their wedding day.

Through regular devotional times, fellowship opportunities, and a network of discipling relationships, couples are equipped to face life’s challenges together while keeping Christ at the center of their marriage. These connections offer encouragement, practical wisdom, and accountability, helping husbands and wives grow in their spiritual walk and in their love for one another.

This ministry is not just about maintaining marriages; it is about helping them flourish. By building on the foundation of faith, couples are empowered to reflect God’s design for marriage, becoming a light and example of love, respect, and perseverance to their families, the church, and the wider community.

💍 Married Couples Retreat 2026

The Kingston Church of Christ is delighted to announce a special Married Couples Retreat for 2026, entitled “Renewal.” This transformative weekend will be held at the beautiful all-inclusive Royalton Negril for two nights, from Friday, October 23 to Sunday, October 25, 2026.

This retreat is intentionally designed with a focus on emotional well-being and spiritual restoration — a time to pause, reconnect, and heal the soul. In the busyness of life, marriages can easily become strained or distracted. “Renewal” offers couples the opportunity to refresh their love, strengthen their communication, and deepen their connection with both God and one another in a peaceful and uplifting environment.

Our guest speakers will be Anton and Sharon Ivy, professional counselors who, prior to retirement, faithfully served in ministry for nearly 40 years. Their wisdom, experience, and heartfelt approach to marriage enrichment promise to provide practical tools and spiritual encouragement that couples can carry long after the retreat ends.

The total cost for this two-night, all-inclusive retreat at this exceptional hotel is J$110,000 per couple, which covers all conference-related expenses, accommodations, meals, and amenities.

Due to limited hotel availability following the hurricane and increased demand for rooms, couples are encouraged to act quickly. An early deposit of J$16,000 per couple is required by Sunday, March 1st to secure your room.

Spaces are limited — don’t miss this opportunity to invest in your marriage.
