What started as a simple dream in the hearts of Marlon and Nomali Campbell—to spend intentional time with fellow couples—quickly blossomed into a life-giving retreat that touched every soul who attended. Over one unforgettable weekend, nine couples, nine children, and even a dedicated babysitter came together at the stunning Richmond Estate in St. Ann to recharge, reconnect, and rejoice in the blessings of faith, family, and friendship.
From Thursday, August 14th to Sunday, August 17th, couples shared beautiful villas and an even more beautiful fellowship. With the careful planning of Samantha and Darren George, the retreat’s itinerary was bursting with moments that stirred the heart and lifted the spirit—faith-sharing, delicious meals, laughter-filled games, music, and dance. Every couple contributed by preparing a meal, creating a rich menu that celebrated Jamaican favorites, continental delights, and even the flavors of Haiti and Trinidad.
💡 Highlights of the Weekend
- Friday began with an inspiring D-group led by Hannif and Antonette Miller, followed by fun by the pool, a table tennis showdown, and a games night that ended with fiery rounds of dominoes.
- Saturday took everyone to the sparkling turquoise waters of Columbus Cove, Draxhall, where couples and kids splashed, played, and soaked up the Caribbean sun. That evening, the tone shifted to romance with a candlelit date night and an unforgettable dance session choreographed by instructor Tash Bryan.
- Sunday wrapped the weekend with a heartfelt Bible talk by Darren George, powerful couple sharing, and a sense of renewed purpose for marriages, families, and friendships.
