The Teachers Service Team of the ICOC, of which Courtney Bailey is a member, undertook an in-depth study of scriptures that address gender roles in the church. The final version was recently distributed. The document explains relevant and important scriptures that define gender relations and roles, from Creation to the Epistles. The teachers refrained from prescribing how churches should operate. Although there will be further discussions, we are sending this document to keep you up to speed with biblical teachings and practices that guide our leadership. We are studying out ourselves and will have in depth teaching on it later in the year.
