Specialized Ministries

A variety of ministries meet several needs of Christians and the community. 
The Children's Ministry
The Children's ministry introduces the Bible to the young ones from ages 1 to 9 years old with age-appropriate curricula. The programme runs concurrent with the worship service on Sundays. Children love learning with songs, art & craft, and interactive lessons.









The Youth and Family Ministry
The Youth & Family primarily focuses on helping families with teenagers to become united in love. An annual summer camp, weekly devotions, and monthly youth services help to develop the spirituality of the youth. A dedicated youth minister and adult volunteers interact with the teens and parents to bring harmony and understanding in the family.New Paragraph
Mentorship Programme (for Boys)
Roy Wright and Maurice Johnson founded the mentorship programme a few years ago in order to assist single mothers raise their boys. Many males grow up without a male figure. This group has evolved to include young men from many backgrounds and experiences. This programme affords young men the opportunity to have male role models in their lives or to be role models for others. The activities include community service and football. The characters of the boys are honed even as they have fun and interact in playful settings.



The Campus Ministry
The age that adolescents enter University is a crucial age. This is when they are most likely to shape their destiny. Statistics reveal that many get involved in socially destructive lifestyles and habits at this age. The campus ministry offers and alternative to the sinful choices that present themselves to these impressionable youth. It encourages them to keep course on their studies, learn about God, and to engage in wholesome, Christian interactions. Their activities include an annual "Making the 'A' Grade" seminar, a back-to-school barbeque, a dedicated worship service, regular discipling groups and Bible discussions.
The Singles Ministry
Some of the greatest biblical heros of the Christian faith were unwed, and had enriching relationships and partnerships with other co-workers. Christians who live their lives, undivided in their focus, have great opportunities to reap much fruit for God. This ministry serves to encourage and foster these kinds of relationships and this kind of lifestyle in our modern day for single disciples of Jesus.






The Married Couples' Ministry
Weddings are on the decline and divorce rate depressingly high in the world. Yet, marriage is a union that has the potential to reflect the love and unity between Jesus and the church, his bride. The married couples' ministry seeks to give marriages the support, instruction, and encouragement they need to maintain love and unity that they had on the wedding day. Regular devotions and a network of discipling relationships are utilized to achieve this purpose.





The Rock & Diamonds Ministries
The older members of the community have a focused ministry to help to foster relationships and meet needs. This ministry is called "The Rock Ministry" or “The Real Rockers” in Kingston, and the "Diamonds ministry" in St. Catherine. Activities include special inspirational lessons, movies and outdoor activities such as picnics and visits to the Rockfort Mineral Bath. Generally these events are held on a Saturday as this is most convenient for all parties. The usual venue for indoor activities is the home of one of our members.




Sarah's Daughters
“Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled. (Titus 2:3-5)”

Sarah's Daughters are a group of women helping each other to remain faithful to God. Our Goal is to increase our capacity to love God and enjoy God forever.

To achieve this, they aim to....

1. To build a new framework of outreach with the aim of teaching younger women in accordance with the exhortation in Titus
2. To use God's word to encourage and exhort women in any sort of life events to fix their eyes on Jesus.
3. To build up existing group members and equip them to be able to effectively teach others as they experience their own growth.
The Grief Counseling Ministry

Everyone experiences grief of some kind, whether it be the loss of a job, relocating from a home, divorce, or death of a loved one. Many get stuck in grief and cannot experience joy of life after loss. The Grief Counseling Ministry seeks to comfort members of the church and the community in their loss, and also to help individuals through the stages of their grief. This ministry was founded by George and Rosemarie Morris.
The Prayer Ministry
A group of godly men and women stand by to pray for you. Requests can be made at the end of our worship services or by email. Send a request to kcocinja@gmail.com
